2009

Extensive role played by G.D.Apte & Co. in the First Takeover of an Urban Co-op Bank by a public sector bank in the country. The idea was conceptualized and implemented very successfully by the firm. Initial resistance to this idea by Regulators was won over by putting forth the argument about full protection to all the deposits of all the depositors. This concept was included by the RBI in their mid term Credit Policy declared in October 2009.

2014

Special Investigative (Forensic) audit of a large infrastructure Company with a debt exposure of Rs. 10,000 crores concluded with pertinent observations of overstatement of receivables, unrealised claims, manipulation of drawing power, fraudulent stock reports. Etc. The audit was carried out on behalf of a consortium of 18 lenders led by Union Bank of India.

2020

A major textile and yarn maker Company was declared as fraud by its lenders based on the forensic audit report submitted by GDA.

2008

The firm’s client listed company bestowed with the Award for Best Presented Annual Accounts by ICAI and South Asian Federation of Accounts for the Financial year 2007-08.

2011

A client company was also presented the Best Presented Annual Accounts – 1st prize (gold shield) by the ICAI in the year 2010-11.

2017

Yet another Forensic Audit of one of the largest manufacturer of edible oils and a pioneer of soya foods, with loans of Rs. 12,000 crores. was successfully completed with conclusive observations of large number of transactions with associated companies having massive outstanding and Poor disclosure of material, adverse information and no qualification by the statutory auditors.

With the addition of 3 more partners, GDA has grown strength to strength from 7 partners and 100 + team in 2012 to 13 partners and 200+ team in 2020.
